Remember when I wrote about the incredible ice cream I had on a trip to a posh, local eatery? Well, on that same trip, I had a lovely cauliflower and mushroom soup. I’ve been wanting to use it as an inspiration, but fresh cauliflower has been oddly but consistently lacking at my local grocery stores over the last few months. Well, during a quick grocery stop after From Scratch yesterday, I noticed, and promptly snagged, a head of cauliflower. And I made soup.

It’s pretty tasty, but it still needs some work. I’ll keep you posted.
