I spent the week dog and house sitting for my brother and his wife. Not a bad gig since I got to enjoy the pool and a television with more than two channels. It was even better when they arrived home safe, relaxed, and with a cooler full of seafood. I’m a big fan of giving and receiving consumables as gifts, so being presented with gorgeous hunks of both tuna and grouper made my day. I’ve been wanting to try fish tacos, and that grouper started whispering, “Fry me.” So I did. I also made slaw. And chipotle-lime mayo. This meal was further proof that God loves me and should, therefore, forgive the enthusiastic cursing that ensued after the first bite. Yum.
