Hi all, well so much for my goal to write everyday. These past few weeks
have been busy! By the way, I love reading ya’lls comments, I just haven’t
been on my blog to comment in return.
Lets see, my nephew played in his first basketball game last week. To hear
him tell it, you’d think he won the game single handedly. What he actually
did was run up and down the court, jump up and down, and wave his hands. Not
bad for an eight year old though. He was so nervous. He also came in second
in his school spelling bee. It took a sixth grader to beat him. He will get
to go to county next week.
Still trying to figure out birthday party invitations. That is probably what
I’ll work on after finishing this.
I’ve started trying to learn/brush up my spanish skills via a dvd series. I
pop a dvd in while i’m on the elliptical machine and so that works out
pretty well. Trying to exercise my mind a bit, inspired by Jennie’s posts. I
figure anything that takes the brain out of it’s usual comfort zone should
be of benifit. Hmm…I wonder if Tetris would help. Does anyone else love
that game?
Anyone read or watched anything good lately? I just finished rereading the
Anne of Green Gables series. I love those books. I just started on Little
Women again this weekend. I also watched Bowling for Colmbine over the
weekend. Interesting. I thought it brought up some interesting points. I
never thought I’d watch a film in which Marylin Manson was the most
intelligent speaker.
Okay, think I’ll give a go at designing some invites.
